Alpenresidenz Adler - Kirchberg in Tirol, Austria     

Stayed at this hotel for seven nights in July 2007. Very good service with excellent breakfast and evening meal. Room was a little on the small size for a 4*, but considering the price, it was OK. The only downside is that car parking is limited, with little or no alternatives if all the spaces are taken. Great base for sightseeing, staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

All in all our stay at the hotel was pleasant. We contacted the hotel after we saw their website. The room they offered us had a picture on the website and we were very satisfied. The room we got looked completely different and didn't suit 3 people. We changed for another room which was larger, with a proper third bed (and a built-in sauna, that we didn't use) but had to pay and extra 23Euro/day. The hotel has a very nice wellness center with 3 different types of Saunas (which we used) - A Cristal Sauna, a wet Sauna and a Finnish Sauna. There is also a rest room with recliner chairs and another one with water beds. There is also a small heated pool. There are two very nice longues, were you can sit in the evening, but people are smoking there, so if you don't.....The main dining room is smoke free. The bar is nice and the bar-tending girl, is full of smiles. The food was excellent. A very nice breakfast buffet, a Complimentary lunch buffet (12:00 - 16:00) and a very tasty dinner. The chef was really amazing (did you ever taste a CLEAR tomato soup - neither did I, until now). Service all over was very good, especially the reception desk girls that were very helpful and pleasant. It's a nice place to stay while skiing, just make sure you got the room you paid for
