Mercure Bregenz City - Bregenz, Austria     

i stayed for a night in this hotel. well, i think there is nothing specific to tell about it. ok, it's nice enough and clean, but nothing special. the staff is helpful, the neigborhood is ok. the room was small but clean. the breakfast was good but nothing more. overall, it's a good hotel for short trips, but i deffo would not recommend it for a honeymoon... :)

This is a definite 4 star hotel. It is right on Lake Constance, and the rooms are very modern, average to large in size, and well decorated. The bathrooms are very nice with marble and glass. The restaurant was good. The staff was helpful but we did not interact with them very much. The hotel is basically spotless, and they obviously take great pride in their hotel. The high speed internet was a little confusing in that you had to purchase a card from the front desk, then log onto Internet Explorer and use the card's code to unlock the wireless. The price was extremely reasonable at this time of the year! It is trick to find, and you must refer to Google maps to find 1) the turnoff from the autobahn and 2) especially, the tricky overpass that goes over the train tracks over to the area of the hotel. It took us about 1/2 hour to find it even though we were in the neighborhood!! There is a casino next door which is also appeared to be new. Be aware-the east side you had to dress up to enter, but the west side allowed you in if you were not wearing a tie, but it was really smoky-you could cut it with a knife!!
