We were very happy to find a room at the Sheraton Córdoba one morning in November 2006, as we arrived that morning on an overnight bus from Salta without an advance reservation anywhere, and quickly found that all the hotels in town were booked. It was expensive, international-class expensive, but we were desperate for a room. It was just the pampering we needed at that point. The hotel is a small skyscraper located somewhat outside of downtown next to a newish shopping mall, but it's possible to walk to the center if you're up for it. Although the room was not huge, it was extra quiet and everything was beautiful and worked correctly. The bed was just right. The highlight was the breakfast -- a huge spread of yummy local and international breakfast foods.
