With its little orange and lemon garden, Hotel Calypso offers an oasis of calm. Pompei is a delightful town, where the friendly inhabitants are always ready to assist. The owners are no exception and are happy to recommend restaurants in the area and to provide any other assistance you may require during your stay. Enjoy breakfast in the fascinating breakfast room, decorated with beautiful pictures.

Though quiet, the hotel is close to all the town’s facilities and attractions.

Internet point with a PC or you can connect your lap-top using a cable (we have a wi-fi net but , for the moment is closed up for custumers use), the line is DSL and the cost is 2,50 euro a hour.

Loved this place, room was very clean, the staff were very helpful, and the restaurant they recommended was brilliant, and even better when we met the owners in there already eating!! Extremely good value for money and on 5 min walk to ruins, overall a good experience!!

The Hotel Calypso was a delight. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was to a good standard and the breakfast room interestingly cluttered !! The family running the hotel were so helpful- even going as far as driving us to the far entrance of the ruins when we asked for a taxi! They gave maps and information about local pubs and restauants which all went to making our stay in Pompeii unforgettable. Pompeii its self was a lovely place to stay, while the ruins are undobtedly the focus of attention , the people are friendly and there are some great restaurants and bars. The town appears to shut down early but a bit of preseverance and you will find an ongoing night life!
