I knew I made the right choice the minute I stepped into this hotel's Arabian-inspired lobby. I was given a refreshing cold apple drink and a cold towel while waiting to be checked in, and then shown to my room. It was big with a huge king size bed, a fantastic glass-enclosed bathtub, separate toilet and a separate shower cubicle. The amenities were top-notch and numerous and free bottles of water were replenished every day and there was also free coffee and tea facilities,as well as chocolate covered dates every night at turndown!! The swimming pool was also fantastic overlooking Burj Dubai, the tallest building in the world and the temperature was just right. I met with smiles at evry turn and really wished that my stay was longer than 2 nights. It just shows that 4 star hotels in Dubai beat most 5 star hotels in almost every other city, Dubai is overwhelming with its malls, buildings,nightlife etc and this wonderful hotel was a haven of tranquility in quite a wild city!
