We just returned from a trip to Switzerland and stayed in about six different hotels. This was probably the worst hotel of the trip. It's a decent-sized room with a great view of the Wetterhorn, but the hotel is in serious need of renovation. It had this "dirty" quality about the bathroom, room, and main lobby. The breakfast also was nothing special. Having said that, it's in the middle of town and convenient to the train station. If I were to go back to Grindelwald, I would try to stay somewhere else.
