My husband & I stayed at this hotel for 1 night & will not be returning. The hotel has a very cold feel about it, very corporate & definitely not ideal for a relaxing weekend. The rooms are TINY, very clean but claustrophobic. We went to eat in the restaurant but walked out, although the staff were very friendly there was absolutely no atmosphere. Room service menu is very limited.

I have stayed here a few times, only because of a function that has happened in the function rooms at the hotel. This hotel has changed names over the past few years but since the last change, the facelift and service is a pleasure. Old hotel and building but refurbished with quality decor and excellent bar environment. Function rooms are sizeable and overall offer a good quality of service against price. Probably the best in Stokenchurch and would recommend to anyone for a business stay and possibly a social stay if the area is of interest. Part of the Best Western Hotels but offers better quality than some Best Westerns' I have stayed in - hence the "Above Average" rating. Website at : http://www.kingshoteluk.com
