8 - 12 March 05) At the moment, this hotel is made up of 115 rooms, 1 pool (infinity pool overlooking sand dunes in the desert), 1 main restaurant and 1 desert restaurant. The hotel rooms are very nice indeed - morrocan theme, nice little balconies overlooking the desert, and a very nice bathroom with incredible extras and power shower. The service couldn't be faulted - if you asked for something that they didn't have on offer - they certainly tried their hardest to appease you. As this is a very new hotel (opened in Dec 04), I was surprised how "on the ball" the staff were. They are always asking how they might improve their service.. Read review

We could not fault the staff or the service, and we received such as warm reception from them each and everytime, it was a bit overwhelming to say the least. We actually thought they had mistaken us for royalty as we could not quite get to grips with the high quality and level of service we were receving, it really was second to none, and unlike any other hotel in Dubai we had stayed in. The rooms were spacious, clean, with a real arabic rustic feel, the rainforest showers along with the musky showergels and creams were just fab. It was fantastic to unwind at the end of the day at the rooftop shisha bar. On a couple of occasions we asked for meals not available on the menu and the chef was always on hand and happy to oblige.. The staff are so friendly, and will go out of their way to help. Even in the blistering heat, they seemed to want to do anything to help. From driving up to the hotel, through the winding torch light road, to the way the pool is lit up at night and the sand dunes rise up in the distance. Bathing in the pool, and watching a couple of camels wander by is something I'll never forget.. Read review

As it's part of the Jumeirah International group, you get the level of service you'd expect at Jumeirah beach, Madinat, Burj etc etc. We arrived the day following our booking, and had a room with its own garden. Food was excellent, but I'd recommend an extended menu if they want to encourage guests to stay for longer than a few days. The pool is gorgeous - beautiful temperature, loads of places to sit with a book in sun or shade.. Read review

There's not much to do but if you just want to relax by the pool then this is the place. When we got to the hotel we got upgraded from bed and breakfast to half board, which was a bonus. Restaurants are nice - Not loads on the menu but enough for a couple of nights. Pool area is nice but they are extending the pool and all you hear is them working. Great hotel - best to go when pool area has been finished.. Read review

The rooms are all Arabian themed and very spacious with enormous beds and bathtubs! We found the service very good around poolside and never waited more than 5mins before someone got towels for the sunbeds. The setting is outstanding, as is the selection and quality of the food.
The room had a huge bed, all the facilities you expect from a 5 star hotel and a nice “balcony” area (although we were on the ground floor – the hotel is a “low rise” design with only two floors). The bathroom was also very nice, with a huge sunken bath. Nice the pool with a sufficient number of sun beds but the pool service was not as fast as a guest can imagine in a five stars place. We had a dinner at Al Hadheerah restaurant:our first impressions was very spectacular: it is a very nice setting, with a huge selection of food and live entertainment throughout the evening. But as everibody knows a buffet is not the top for people who loves to eat great food.
