We spent a magnificent week in the Sport Hermitage in Soldeu for the new year. The hotel itself was wonderful, it was definitely a 5 star hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious, all the mod cons, etc. I read in previous reviews about the lighting in the rooms, that it was too dark, but i disagree, i think it just adds character to the room & surroundings. The spa complex was wonderful, everything about it was 1st class. The sport hermitage is part of 3 sport hotels in Soldeu & is by far, the best. It is expensive to stay there, a group of 6 flew out ( 3 couples ) & it cost us roughly 13,000euro for 6 people for the week including flights, transfers, snowboarding school, board & boots hire, ski pass for the week. I highly recommend the sport hermitage, for its wonderful surroundings & setting.
