Refurbishment work completed in December 2006 has given the building a new lease of life. The hotel is now access-friendly into the restaurant and bar. Being a grade ll listed building has created a few problems extending this to the bedrooms, but the hotel is working on it.
The changes are fantastic, though in character. Come and enjoy the new ‘Riverview Bar’, and, as the name suggests, you can enjoy the magnificent views across the Wye Valley and river below.

In addition to the tranquillity and serenity, we are perfectly poised to cater to your wilder side. The Wye River offers kayaking, rafting, and tubing. Whilst the spectacular cliff faces provide the perfect feature for the death-defying plunge as you abseil down to the magnificent River Wye.
