I stayed in this hotel during NYE and we booked it at last second. It was such a lucky booking!!! The hotel is just fab. Our room was on the top floor. The Hotel has been newly decorated and looks just fantastic.
The room was extremely clean and people at the reception extremely friendly and welcoming.
I will recommend to all my friends travelling to Berlin for pleasure or business...
PS. The location is also impressive & the price of the room extremely competitive!

Like another reviewer, I stayed here over new year to take advantage of their very advantageous opening offers. The price ranged from EUR59 to EUR29 per night. As others have mentioned the hotel is brand new and offers a boutique atmosphere. It has a good location in the west of the city close to the Ku'damm and the gay bars of Fuggerstr. It certainly had a gay-friendly feel, which is a definite bonus. The rooms are decently sized and the bathrooms are fine. In-room wi-fi is offered at an excellent EUR4 per day. Staff range from very good to extremely surly. The place is however somewhat basic and this gives it more of an insitutional feel, with the lack of small details such as a light switch to turn off the main room lights next to the bed. It feels more like a 2* pension than the 3* hotel it claims to be. The main problem I had, and this is why I have given it 2/5 is something another reviewer alluded to - the hot water situation. I stayed for a total of 3 nights and did not have hot water on any of the mornings, though it did work in the evening. I was obliged to take a cold shower every morning, adding to the institutional feeling. I know for a fact that I was not alone as when I went down to reception, the receptionist was getting very upset when another client could not understand why she had to wait an hour before having her shower because the hotel could not provide her with the hot water she should have been able to expect. I found cleanliness to be an issue. While the room was spotless when I arrived, by the time I left, I was able to write my name on the desk for all the dust that was there. I would certainly consider staying here again if the price were around EUR30-40 but wouldn't pay much more. There are places in Berlin which offer much more with equally good locations in this same price bracket.
