Sky Of Thira - Firostefani, Greece 

We stayed at Sky for 3 nights, right up to Christmas. There were 3-4 parties at the Hotel for the weekend, which is not bad for the offseason. The stay was very comfortable, the room provided to us was cold, but once we turned on the heat, it was warm in half an hour. They are very very generous...picked us up at port athinios and were waiting for us when we deboarded, dropped us off at the port on the way back as well. Rooms are small (on par with Europe), but comfortable. Our room was heated well, had a kitchen (they provided us with a coffee maker, water purifier, teacups, silverware and plates), a fridge and oven/range. Breakfast was 830-1000 every morning and food was good. Its made onsite, so dont expect a buffet line or trays of pre made stuff. Sky is a 10 min walk from downtown Thira, where the clubs, shopping and food areas were. There are some shops along the walk to town. For its price and location, its a great value.

Fantastic little hotel. Very resonably priced for Santorini. Keep in mind that it's not on the main hill (where all the expensive hotels and restaurants are) but its only about a 10 min walk. The apartments are great as it gives you a little kitchenette to do your own cooking - great if you've got young kids. The pool is fantastic and looks brand new. It's very relaxing to just lay on the sunchairs and take in the views. The hotel is owned by a family and they are so nice and helpful by the end of it you feel as though you are part of the family. They picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the ferry (each trip about 15-20 mins drive) and there was no cost for this! Rates are extremely cheap for what you get and I would recommend it for all types of travellers. Breakfast is also included. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and kept in good condition. While the main town centre is 10 mins walk, there are some restaurants and a mini market about 1 min walk down the road. The people in this area seem really nice and we felt very safe walking around at night. I would be happy to return.
