There was nothing particularly good about this hotel. The animation team were not very friendly to the british. There were groups of swiss families, which were very nasty to the british kids. When reported to the hotel, they were not interested. The rooms had cockroaches and were not very clean. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. I would not go again or even recommend this hotel. If you want sunshine, the weather was great.

We really recommend the Louis chain. We'd read all the reviews on this site before booking individually ourselves (saved a fortune by booking cyprus airline flights seperately) and were delighted with the holiday. Yes the rooms were a tad dated and yes the food got a bit boring but the huge selling point of this place was the brilliant kids club - Anna & Vera the German staff were flexible, multi-lingual and genuinely enjoyed playing with the kids - we've never found a kids club that was open from 9 - 9pm (even though we only used it about 2 hrs a day). A couple we met had a 4 month old little girl and they took her for 3 hours every afternoon to give the parents a break. Fantastic.
The entertainment was ok ish - except for the dreadful bingo bongo night but for our kids, age 2 and 5 it was perfectly safe environment for them to run around with their pals and have fun til late evening time.
The all-inclusive was a tad boring at the end of 14 days as it only had the one venue although they did do bbq's outside several times. But you know what it was good value and they always catered for the kids and the salads and breads were great.
The pool was particularly spacious and we never failed to secure a shaded sun bed. The bar staff were efficient and worked hard and the cocktails (adult and kiddy ones) were great.
The position of the village was great - not in the central of dodgy disco bars but an easy 8-10 min stroll.
The small aqua park in Protaras was great for our aged kids and the beach was a pleasure - crystal clear waters and tonnes of water sports etc.
We really chilled out and met great families and barely left the village. We loved the privacy and gardens and it was complete R&R.
This was our first "package" holiday as we always tend to drive on hols across Europe and our search now for next year's holiday is lead by supreme kiddy club recommendations coz if you've got family, you'll already know, if the kids are happy and occupied then everyone's happy.
We'll consider Louis resorts again - particularly booking direct with them and booking our own flights which saved us about £1000 on a family hol for 4.
The resort is closing shortly (Oct 07 I think) as it's a huge site which is worth vastly more in real estate compared to the renovations that would be needed over the next few years.
Hope this helps..
