This ancient building since 1873 has been used as an hotel; it has 4 storeys with view on the magnificent church "Chiesa Madre" and on Palazzo VII aprile, located in the so-called "La Loggia" the main town square.

Hotel Stella d’Italia, underwent in 2006 full renovation works, preserving the original charme it has been featuring in the past. External architectural elements are typical from this area. The hotel building has an original duckboard connected to one of the 35 rooms, from which one can admire Via Mario Rapisardi from the top.
Thanks to the restoration performed by skilled workers, for several years in the second half of the XX century, Hotel Stella D’Italia became the most remarkable hotel of Marsala. Moreover the interiors feature precious collection of contemporary sculptures and paintings made by excellent artists such as the members of Scicli Group.

Das Hotel Stella d'Italia liegt mitten in Marsala direkt an der Fussgängerzone. Es ist vor kurzem sehr stilvoll renoviert worden. Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk haben Blick auf die Altstadt . Das Personal sehr freundlich (vor allem sehr gute Restaurantempfehlungen!). Parkmöglichkeit (kostenlos) direkt am Hotel oder in einer Hotelgarage. Zufahrt zum Hotel gut beschildert. Zum Schluss wird es etwas eng (Altstadtgassen).

Just back from a trip around Sicily. Hotel Stella d'Italia is definitely the best hotel we visited. It is a newly refurbished hotel, open only 3 months. Everthing is new and fresh and the staff's attention to detail is second to none. The location of the hotel is central in the old city of Marsala and offers everything a visitor requires. Highly recommended !!!!
