Hotel De La Ville - Monza, Italy 

I spent five days in this hotel in Monza. Hotel de la Ville is an EXCEPTIONAL experience. The service is precise and very friendly. The restaurant is outstanding. The rooms are beautiful and are still a value. The location across from the palace and its gardens is special. This hotel goes the full distance to make this an outstanding experience.

I stayed at this hotel last week for 2 nights for business travel. The hotel is located just opposite Villa Reale and the Park Royal. Also it is in walking distance to the city center of Monza (15 min.) which is very convenient. The hotel is very nicely decorated with a lot of old antiquities. The reception staff is very friendly, very service orientated and multilingual. Due to the fact that I was traveling for business, my company had booked a superior single-room for me, which was somewhat disappointing. The room was clean, enough furnished and the bed itself was comfortable. However compared to the rest of the hotel, the luxury ended at the room-door. But the funniest thing was the size of my bathroom. I guess, in a motorhome you have the same or even more space. Probably the double rooms and suites are bigger and are in accordance to the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, but we didn’t have dinner at the restaurant.
