This is a lovely area which is well worth a visit and this hotel is certainly a nice place to stay. The building is easy to find and the staff very pleasant. Car park is adjacent and access to rooms easy for moving cases etc. We were allocated a cracking junior suite on 2 levels with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs in the roof space which gave us great views of the lake and hills. Downstairs we had a kitchen, lounge, loo and balcony. This property is new and very high tech but as with all high tech buildings it had problems. Some switches did not work, there was evidence of continuing building work in the storage areas and to top it all the A/C in our bedroom refused to work with the temperature outside at night sticking around 30 Celsius. After 1 sleepless night we reported the defect but the A/C could not be repaired so we were moved to a flat with much the same facilities. Again minor electrical problems but the A/C worked. Breakfast was extra and at 12 euro each certainly not worth it, buy in some food from Lidl supermarket nearby and get fresh break from the boulangerie along the road. Only issue with this place however was not the minor niggles it was the restaurant. This is owned by a private company and also has part of the lake shore line at the bottom of the hotel grounds. What the hotel has is essentially a jetty. The restaurant is definitely overpriced for what it serves and the staff very unprofessional. Additionally, you really have to book as there is a lack of areas to eat here and it tends to get booked up and with it not being the hotels property you will not get in and indeed be asked to leave the area! Saying that the good quality kitchens in your apartment enable you to cook for yourself or you can go further afield into Annecy itself where there are masses of good restaurants. I would fully recommend this hotel due to its location, staff quality (Hotel not restaurant), newness and design of the accommodation. Once everything is fixed it will be great, especially if they take over the restaurant.

We spent a week here and had a lovely stay. The accomodation is very nice, modern and clean. We had a studio apartment which means that there is no bedroom and the sofa needs to be pulled out each night to sleep on. That said, it was a very quick process and the bed was very comfy. There was a nice balcony which looked out onto the lake, it had 2 reclining deck chairs which weren't that comfortable so we pulled out the dining table and chairs from the kitchen so we could eat some meals on the balcony in the evening. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped although there was only a hob and microwave and no oven so that limited what you could cook. The area around the apartments does not have too much to offer and a car is needed to get to supermarkets etc. The views from the balcony were so pretty looking out onto the lake and mountains. The surrounding area has lots of places to explore and things to do. Overall, excellent stay and we would highly recommend it!
