In our hotel Ackselhaus, you can choose between different room types, consisting of our great thematically decorated apartment, a two bedroom apartment for 4 persons and our Themen-Suiten, among which are the Africa-, Venice-, Honeymoon- and Movie-Suite.
Behind our lovely 120 year old establishment, you will be able to find a wonderful, peaceful garden in Mediterranean style.
The rooms in our new "bluehome" are particularly charming and exclusive. These particular room types are the Suites Exklusiv, Apart Deluxe and Studio Deluxe.
The design with modern and tradional features, enables the hotel to hold on to the colonial style of the Ackselhaus. This theme is perceptible throughout the building... No two rooms are alike!

A gem in one of the hippest neighborhoods in Berlin. We had a full apartment, stylishly decorated, meticulously maintained, in this lovely tree-lined street. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Free internet is a real plus as well. The staff is warm, friendly and helpful. I'd stay here any time.

The Ackselhaus and the connected Blue Home are an excellent choice in the Prenzlauer Berg district of Berlin. More an apartment house than a hotel, this property is great for extended stays. I stayed only for one night, unfortunately, in a top-floor deluxe studio of the Blue Home. The studio was rather large, nice furniture, and a great view of the TV tower. The only minuses were the pretty small bathroom and the very squeaky bedframe (which could deprive couples of their sleep). The breakfast in the morning was very tasty with a good variety of rolls, bread, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, fresh fruit, and boiled eggs, served by a cheerful young Australian lady. The Ackselhaus is a great base for exploring the East side of Berlin, providing a homey atmosphere and not an anonymous hotel experience that you would find elsewhere.
