Quality Hotel Berlin Tegel - Berlin, Germany     

We stayed there a few days at the end of May. Pretty satisfied with the hotel. It is affordable, conveniently situated not far from the airport and to the bus lines. The bus stop is just behind the corner (line 128 will take you to Franz-Neuman Pl where you can jump on a subway). The service we received was far above average. The staff was very helpful and kind. The rooms, although relatively small were clean and well equipped. The 2 only things that would be handy were: a microwave and an ice machine. Breakfast – included in the price (at least when we stayed) – it was a fest not a breakfast – variety of cheeses, sausages, fruit, bakery and what’s not. Much better than standard cereal and stale donuts. The only thing to improve – internet access. There is a spot in the lobby with a public computer. But charging for access? Come on, it is year 2008. Who else on this planet still charges for the net? Overall – I’d recommend to any one.

El hotel aunque no es céntrico, está mu bien ubicado en una zona residencial, pero a 5 minutos a pie del metro. La habitación en la que nos alojamos estaba impecable y era muy amplia, las camas podrían haber estado mejor (estaban muy blandas), el televisor es pequeño pero no estaba de vacaciones para ver televisión, en la habitación hay minibar y cocineta, el baño también estaba impecable. Aunque en Septiembre no hace mucho calor de alguna manera por las noches la habitación se ponía algo caliente y no hay aire acondicionado. No creo que sea una buea opción para ir en verano. Aunque he leído en varios sitios que la cercanía al aeropuerto lo puede hacer algo ruidoso, la verdad, yo no escuché ningún avión y siempre tuvimos las ventanas abiertas. El personal del mostrador fue muy amable y ofrecían bufé de desayuno que tenía una gran variedad de alimentos, desde los panes, carnes frías, frutas, zumo de fruta, huevos, salchichas, cereales, tortitas, etc. ¡Lo recomiendo a todos!
