The Great Glass House, designed by Norman Foster, is the centrepiece of the gardens. Aberglasney, just 4 miles away, opened on the July 4th 1999 and features the restored gardens, walkway and yew tunnel of a bygone age. Gelli Aur Park features an Arboretum and deer park.

- Although in the heart of the Towy Valley, many beaches can be reached within an hour. The spectacular beaches of Gower, Rhossili, Three Cliffs, Oxwich, Langland, and Caswell Bay are always popular destinations. Pembrey Country Park combines a wonderful beach and dunes with riding, cycling, and even a dry ski slope. Llansteffan has a lovely beach as well as a spectacular castle, and then on to Saundersfoot and Tenby with the Pembrokeshire coast beyond.

The Plough Inn has an excellent reputation, spread far and wide, for its commitment to using the best local ingredients. A subtle blend of modern and traditional culinary styles coupled with a warm inviting atmosphere, you can sample a menu with choices of the old favourites or dishes a little more imaginative, complemented by an extensive wine cellar and a great range of coffees to finish.

Whether it is a leisurely meal, a birthday or a family celebration, the friendly staff will endeavour to make your visit a memorable one.

Meals are normally served in the restaurant or in the conference room. However, weather permitting they can be taken on the terrace overlooking the garden. The food and beverage can range from tea/coffee and famous Welsh cakes, through buffets to à la carte. The bar is open until late.
