La Briqueterie - Epernay, France 

We stayed at the Hostellerie La Briqueterie for 2 nights in May. We loved our stay here and are looking forward to returning. We had a deluxe room with a terrace area off the room. The hotel grounds are a delight with beautiful flowers and herb gardens. The hotel is a little ways outside of Epernay, we had a car, and would not recommend staying here without one. The service from the entire hotel staff was wonderful. We had dinner the second night at the hotels restaurant, and it was a true gourmet experience, although not inexpensive. We took the Moet & Chandon tour, and highly recommend it as a first tour, after that personal taste would dictate other visits. The hotels website gives a very accurate description of the property.

Stayed here for New Years Eve 07 with wife and 3 kids in adjoining rooms - the staff were exceptional, the rooms were very smart, the restaurant and bar were fantastic, and the location was great - nice secure parking with champagne vineyards stretching away from your windows. We have found it hard to find a great hotel with a pool, and so tried La Briqueterie - the pool is very cool - it's round and has a whirl pool in the middle. Everything was really nice - but it's pricey, perfect for a treat, but way too much for a hit and run driving down to the alps situation.
