Golf Hotel Corallo - Montecatini Terme, Italy 

Very charming family-hotel with high-level personel -service. The location of the Club Hotel Corallo ist really excellent, it is near by the center of Montecatini, Spa-area and there is located a little public market a few steps away. This pleasant hotel is located in a lovely old villa, with a cosy , italian atmosphere in the lobby, and a small pool on the roof. It is wonderfull to relax there and enjoy the view over the city. The staff are all willing to please, very helpful, gave advice on places to visit etc. I have never felt such fabiously service in gastronomy before. This is not an anonymous, faceless hotel, but an hotel with character. The location in Montecatini and the warmheated kindly personel service, depends on the family-owners, makes Corallo really excellent for regular travellers to tuscany and its trips. I will certainly recommend this nice hotel to anybody who wants to travel to Montecatini and tuscany.

This hotel is only a short walk from the absolutely stunning Spa baths and is ideally located for the must see Montecatini Alto - a medieval village at the top of the adjacent hill. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and there is a local market literally metres away. The people of Montecatini have a saying - the tourist is the most important visitor and that is very evident as soon as you engage with them.The hotel has a pool located on the roof but we didn't have time to check it out. The centre of Montecatini Terme has some wonderful shops and restaurants and is a short walk from the hotel. Montecatini Terme is an ideal location for visiting Florence and Pisa - with Florence approximately 40 minutes direct by train and Pisa an hour changing at Lucca. Train journeys are very cheap - a couple of pounds return. We had a great stay at this hotel and I would highly recommend it.
