Hotel Spadari Al Duomo - Milano, Italy     

With 3 weeks in Italy, I decided to splurge during our time in Milan after such a long flight from San Francisco. I paid a bit more per night here than I did for the remainder of our trip, but it was well worth it. The room was very clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The items for the breakfast were pretty typical for Italy, but I think this was one of the best (more variety than most). Compared to the rest of the hotels we stayed in, the bathroom was immaculate. I would definitely stay here again.

We have just returned from a 3 week trip of Croatia/Italy. We toured the coast of Croatia on a sailboat cruise & then drove to Bellagio, Italy on Lake Como for a several day stay. Milan was a 2 night stop before returning home & I really did not expect to enjoy Milan after the wonderful places that we had seen on our trip. Milan & the Hotel Spadari were just wonderful. The location of this hotel could not be better -- You are 5 minutes from every major site in Milan. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast is great-you can do buffet or order off of the menu, air conditioning works great, beds are comfortable, internet is free, the front desk staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. We saw daVinci's Last Supper, took a private walking guided tour of the city & enjoyed Milan thoroughly. Would stay at Hotel Spadari again when visiting Milan!!
