The hotel is 5 mins from the Lourve very easy access from the Metro. The rooms are tiny and the corridors are very narrow (my suitcase was hitting the walls when we were walking to the room), however it was spotless so I couldnt fault it.
I probably would stay here again because of the location, but it would have been nice to have a bit more space in the room to relax at night and when the people in the room next door were having a bath in the morning it sounded like they were having a bath in my room:L

What a find! Only 5 minutes from the Louvre, 15 minutes from Notre Dame and 5 minutes from various metro stations. Right in the heart of Paris, but in a quiet neighbourhood so you won't have any difficulty sleeping.
Staff are lovely and although they all speak excellent English they are pleasant and patient enough to allow you to practice your broken and heavily accented French on them!
There's a nice bar/cafe called Le Oeuf Mayo on the corner of Rue Herold and Rue Coquilliere which is perfect for a drink or two on your way back to the hotel in the evening after a busy days sightseeing.
Room was small, but then I don't go to Paris to sit in a hotel room all day. More importantly, the bathroom was clean, the room was clean and the bed comfortable.
A word from the wise - if travelling to the hotel by Metro, Chatelet Les Halles is the closest station but it's labyrinthine and very disorientating. Keep heading for the Rambuteau exit and then turn right. Louvre Rivoli and Sentier are also very close and easier to navigate.
