Bleibtreu Berlin address: Bleibtreustrasse 31, Berlin, 10707

Bleibtreu Berlin details: This luxurious 4-star hotel is located right at Kurfürstendamm, the most popular shopping stretch of Berlin.

It offers a charming "blue bar", an Italian Espresso Bar, the restaurant Deli 31 as well as a flower shop and a luxurious steam bath. The guest rooms feature Italian design and are furnished only with environmentally materials. From here, many of the city's attractions such as Memmorial Church, the zoo and the large park Tiergarten can be reached on foot.

Avant-garde design, classic elegance, sensual colours, natural materials and comfort await guests behind the simple entrance: above all, the hotel offers lavishly healthy gastronomic concepts and a small but beautiful wellness oasis for you to withdraw to only too willingly after a hectic day in the capital city.

It was the Berlin designer Herbert Jakob Weinand who, ten years ago, had the courage to combine the traditional, the modern, art and enjoyment in a new and unique hotel concept. His concept combined individually designed pieces of furniture, primarily made from untreated woods, with warm, light colours and high-quality textiles, with terrazzo and mosaics from Italy, all brought together with numerous works of art, to form a harmonious whole.

Location

The ‘Bleibtreu Berlin’ was established within a renovated 19th-century patrician house in the district of Charlottenburg, and is situated in one of the most elegant side streets of the Kurfürstendamm boulevard.

The hotel’s location and accessibility is hard to beat: Kurfürstendamm is a stone’s throw away, the main railway station is 6 kilometres away, the ICC Exhibition Centre is 2.5 kilometres away, and Tegel Airport is 7.5 kilometres away. Nearby bus and city rail connections take you quickly to Berlin’s new centre.

Dining

Inkeeping with the inimitable style of the hotel, we offer an imaginative range of cuisine.

The "Deli 31" brings a touch of New York to Bleibtreustrasse: in the open kitchen, burgers, fries, salads, bagels, sandwiches, and hearty weekly dishes such as rissoles with creamed mash or roast sausages with pickled cabbage are prepared right before your eyes. Great attention is paid not only to flavour but to quality: wines mostly stem from ecological vineyards, the burgers from organic beef, steaks from Frisian cattle, and other meats from free-range farms in Schleswig-Holstein.

In "Breakfast 31" our guests can take their pick from our breakfast buffet. We also offer an à la carte breakfast for late risers which is available from 08:00 until 22:00. A wide selection of speciality coffees and freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices are available from "Espressobar 31".

Camera 102 molto piccola

Stayed with a friend here for 3 nights. Despite my friend booking via the hotel website they lost his booking, and as such had what I would describe as "run of house" room for the first night. Was very pokey. Looks like all the rooms were furnished with the same type and amount of furniture, and in a room this small it made it quite cramped. To the hotel's credit they moved us to a bigger room for the following two nights, which was a cavern by comparison - this was fronting the road rather than down the long corridor that runs from the street to the back of the building. Rooms come with a bar fridge with free (!) drinks like coke and sparkling water. Fridge in the first room didn't work so well, but it was so cold outdoors I just put stuff on the window ledge to stay "refrigerated". There is a supermarket on the street one block west if you want more provisions. Breakfast which was included in the price was great. Heaps of food to chose from - cold cuts, cereals, fruits, eggs (cooked to your liking by the chef), toast, breads with a large variety of spreads, tea coffee and fruit juice. Was too easy to go nuts and skip lunch as a result. Definitely the best point of the hotel if you ask me. There is also a bar situated at the front of the hotel. S-bahn station (Savignyplatz) is about two blocks north over the Ku'damm, so location is quite good. There are also heaps of eating options located around the station, especially on Bleibtreustrasse just before the S-Bahn. Coming from Tegel you can either take the 109 bus which goes down the Ku'damm, or catch a cab for about EUR15.
