Radisson SAS Hotel, Muscat - Muscat, Oman 

well..i will start from the reservations...i called the hotel a week before to book a single room for two nights..the telephone operator transfered my call to the reservations...but no one picked up and the call got cut..the second time called the call was directed to the reception and a lady picked up..i made the reservations (booked for a Business class room) i also requested for an airport pickup and the reservation was confirmed...when i reached the airport i couldn't found anyone from the hotel..so i called the hotel and the duty manager told me that there was no airport pickup requested and advised me to take a taxi from the airport..when i reached the hotel.the lobby was looked small but nice from the main porch..but once i entered the lobby..i smelled like rotten eggs.it took me almost ten minutes to check in to the hotel..but eventually i reached my room..gosh..the room was terrible and i couldn't find any special thing for a business class..but the only best thing i found was that the internet was free.the breakfast was included in my room rate so i went to the coffee shop...it was really very ordinary compared to the radisson standards.i won't recent this hotel coz its very outdated and the management and staff doesn't really have a service attitude.

Normally I check Trip Advisor before I book a hotel, and normally this will guide my selection, in this case I was aaway and one of my staff booked the rooms (9) when I read reviews I was ready to cancel but no other hotel had 9 rooms so I let the booking stand. We arrived at what is a good 4* business hotel the staff were excellent the rooms more than adequate. We were meeting till 3.30 on the first day and they kept the Buffet open for an extra hour to suit us. They provided a fully equiped meeting room with all facilites at short notice. Again Dinner was excellent, abit disapointed that the al la carte resteraunt was not able to accomodate us but the buffet resteraunt was more than adequate. breakfast was good as was the spa and pool Again I stress some of the earlier reviewers must have had a bad day or indeed stayed in adifferent hotel!!!!!
