Radisson Sas Atlantic - Stavanger, Norway 

We travelled across to Stavanger on the DfDS seaways boat from Newcastle in May 2008. After a bit of an eventful journey, and arriving at 1am in the morning I have never been so happy to see the smiling faces of the Radisson Staff! Service was quick and efficient, we were off the bus, through reception and into our rooms within about 10 minutes. The rooms were lovely, really big and spacious, with a lovely view across the little lake outside and the fountains and little slippers waiting on the bed. Whole room was immaculate, bathroom was extremely clean and the little shower gels by Anne Semonin smelled of lemons - great after you have been stuck on the boat for over 30 hours (we got stuck in dry dock for ages at Hebburn) - felt really refreshed for the next day to be spent visiting the ffjords. Breakfast was lovely, a good selection and an excellent idea for business people was the coffee on the go - the lady topped up a starbucks style paper cup with coffee for people leaving the hotel. Luggage room was secure as opposite hotel reception. One tip would be - the lifts work with your room card, much to my amusement - the people in the lift next to us couldnt work this out - otherwise you could be in there for a while as it wont move without the card!

Stayed here 1 night on a buissness trip. Good sized, clean room and bathroom. It's a large hotel located at the small lake next to the bus station. This is an excellent location with all the shops, harbour and restaurants on your door step. Good breakfast.
