We read so many mixed reviews on hotels in Venice, it was hard to know what to expect when we arrived at Foscari Palace, but we were more than happy with the stay. The hotel has a small, elegant feel, with a lovely lobby, and an intimate bar area where the waiter served us complimentary champagne on our arrival. The rooms were totally updated, with surround sound speakers in the room and bathroom for listening to music. Had flat screen tvs, and comfy beds. Bathroom was modern and beautiful, the only downside was low water pressure.
Breakfast is included and was excellent.
The location was perfect, right on the canal, with many nice shops and restaraunts nearby. Not too crowded, and a short walk to all of the nearby sights. We aslo stayed at the Hilton Stucky palace which was far more expensive, and we all agreed that Foscari had it beat by a longshot!
This hotel was by far the best deal we found on our stay in Europe!

We stayed at the Foscari Palace shortly after it opened. The hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely and comfortable.
The breakfast is served in a very elaborate, and elegant fashion. There was more than enough choice.
The location is good because as a tourist we were able to see more of the local people walking and then stopping to chat. There were many restaurants to choose from.
We stayed again about a year later and were equally impressed.
