The hotel is located within 100 meters of the Leidseplein and 500 meters from Amsterdam’s famous museum district. The hotel’s 23 guestrooms feature light pastel color schemes, classically patterned carpet and fabrics combined with design furniture.

Hotel Roemer runs an INCLUSIVE policy. This means that the breakfast, an assortment of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks in the bar, alcoholic drinks in the room as well as the items in the minibar in the rooms are included in the roomrate.

On top of this Hotel Roemer serves an assortment of appetizers during the afternoon and the evening.

The lounge features a fireplace and a small cozy cocktail bar where guests can relax and enjoy cocktails, drinks and light meals. On summer day’s we also serve cocktails, drinks and food in our private garden. In a private corner of the lobby two computers with free internet facilities are available for our guests.

23 spacious new rooms, all of them equipped with individual controlled air-conditioning, DVD Player, LCD TV, i-pod speakers and Espresso coffeemaker. For every guest a comfortable working environment with build in English and American adaptors is created. All rooms have their own identity, high standard design furniture combined with own designs.

All bathrooms are designed with natural stone from Belgium and equipped with oversized Jacuzzi bathtubs and/or walk-inn rain showers and a LCD TV. Deluxe designer bath products, bathrobes and a strong hairdryer are the finishing touch to the bathrooms.

Double room:
The double rooms are overlooking the Roemer Visscherstraat. Enjoy a coffee in the sitting area in your room or order a light meal through Room Service. Wireless internet connection. Free internet is available in the lobby of the hotel. The double rooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floor

Executive Room
Overlooking the peaceful Roemer Visscherstraat, the Executive King Rooms have high ceilings with large windows and abundant natural light. In some of the Executive Rooms you can enjoy the evening sun with a nice cocktail from your chair on your private balcony. For your comfort a practical work space and a sitting area with comfortable sofa is created.

Junior Suite
Under the authentic beams of the 18th century Mansion two beautiful lofts like rooms have all the facilities for a comfortable stay. A spacious working area and a separate dinning table make it a joy to stay in these rooms.

We, my fianc? and I, stayed in this lovely hotel for the weekend, the weather was terrible however it did not seem to bother us. And it was all thanks to the wonderful people and atmosphere in this hotel. We had the normal 2-person chamber, but there was nothing normal to it. The whole decoration was stylish and very comfortable. We had all we need it! I want to say thanks to the persons working at the Roemer Hotel for making this a weekend to remember!!

WOW! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. My husband & I spent 3 nights here for our anniversary and we shall be returning the first chance we get. I'm not sure why other reviewers complained about the staff, we found them extremely helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable about A'dam. The garden is lovely to relax in after a day of touring the city, the free drinks and bar snacks are also a nice touch. We stayed in room 14 which is in the basement, but with stairs leading to the garden area. Our first impression was magical as when we opened the door to the garden a duck and six ducklings waddled in front of us. They became our pets for the few days as they were living on the pond in the garden. The room is very large and the bed enormous. As for the bathroom WOW again! The shower area has two showers and is large enough for 4-6 people. The jaccuzzi bath is huge too, my husband is 6'4 and could very comfortably relax in it. The food is excellent at the hotel. The breakfast is included and is delicious. We missed b'fast a couple of times so ordered room service meals which were very large portions and also delicious. Pick this hotel if you want a romantic break or even if you have children, the garden is a great area for them to run around in.
