This proved an ideal choice for a brief stay in Delft., and is very close to Hook of Holland ferries. There is parking literally round the corner - metered after 2pm. 5 mins walk to the central square and all the famous churches. Old Delft is really very lovely - the lack of cars a real pleasure, lots of bars, restaurants, shops and of course Dutch people generally speak excellent English and are unfailingly polite and helpful. Hotel staff - helpful and low profile, my room was "compact" but it was fine really. Free and rapid internet, and a portable air cooling machine. Breakfast more than adequate. I personally won't need to look elsewhere if I visited Delft again.

Near to the railway station so easy to get to. The most friendly check in I have ever had and this strated my 4 day break off in style, just the offer of a coffee or tea as i signed in set the tone for this small friendly hotel. As a single traveller the room was about par not too small and a perfectly adequate bathroom. Nice homely feel and very helpful staff who obvioulsy love their City and from what I saw I can fully understand that. Everything neat and clean, breakfast ok but nothing to write home about and though no restaurant on site I can vouch for the recommendations made by the staff on both times I asked for help. Internet access available (free) and all in all can't really fault the place. For the light sleepers just two words of caution, the noise of footsteps on the cobbles carries a long way and the church bells are also easily audible however they are rather tuneful so go with the flow and enjoy!
