we have just returned from a hen weekend in Riga... The hotel was fab although a little quiet for a hen party! We seemed to upset some guests due to the noise created by some of our party. So whilst this hotel was clean, service was great and rooms really nice and above the rating suggested, it is not recommended for a hen/stag party. But would definately stay there again just not in a large party as the location is also excellent.

El Man-Tess tiene habitaciones maravillosas; todas decoradas en estilos diferentes, muchas en el estilo Art Deco. Las habitaciones dobles son muy grandes con ventanas que hacen que el cuarto sea muy luminoso. Nuestra habitación sencilla era bastante pequeña pero buena. El hotel está ubicado a una cuadra de la opera en la vieja ciudad de Riga y es perfecto para explorar la ciudad. El personal en la recepción hablaba muy bien el inglés. El desayuno frío es adecuado (¡prueba el yogur de ciruela!) y hay una abundancia de café excelente. Hay un supermercado grande a la vuelta de la esquina en un nuevo centro comercial.
