We stayed at the Griselda last year and found it to be surprisingly pleasant! In fact we will be staying there again next week. At first I was disappointed just by the looks, as it is very basic. But the manager Paulo is the most accomodating person we met in Italy, and the rooms were squeaky clean. The breakfast was ample and delicious. Our stay was very simple but comfortable , clean and most accomodating. Paulo and family are real "gems", for wary travelers.
