Hotel Cellini - Rome, Italy 

We stayed at the Cellini 5 nights in the beginning of June and returned for another 3 nights near the end of June. We were impressed with the level of gracious service and the general feel of calm in this small hotel. Our room a Junior Suite was spacious,well appointed and spotless. We enjoyed returning to our oasis after a full day of touring ,always warmly welcomed by the staff and a cool room. The breakfast room was cheerful and well stocked with fresh Italian food items and of course capuccino to order. We conversed with fellow travellers and exchanged travel stories during breakfast,before starting off on our daily walking. The location of the hotel is excellent near the Termini and Metro but very walkable to many of the sites. On our return to the Cellini at the end of the month we were "welcomed" back. The excellent service was truly a nice touch, ie: we had left our battery charger behind and Georges kindly sent it to our hotel in Florence. Also I had badly injured my back in Tuscany and was bed ridden for the last 3 days in Rome, the staff insured I had breakfast ,snacks and water delivered to my room so my husband was able to enjoy his stay in Rome. I would certainly return to this delightful hotel if we were to return to Rome.

We stayed here in Feb for a Valentines break, as all the reviews say this pace is a hidden gem and with amazing service, nothing is too much trouble. With its great rooms decorated beautifully. It is in a great position for travelling arround and also close to some great resturaunts or just a wander to the spanish steps. We ate in Target which was very good and also has the great benefit of being close. We also ate in The Doney which is in the western hotel, if you fancy something a little bit special this was superb service and an unbelievable menu. Thanks to everyone at the cellini for all there advice and help.
