This hotel was a wonderful place to stay! My son and I enjoyed all the sports facilities and had one of the best massages ever. The day we left we had to catch an early train and the kitchen staff packed us two large bags of breakfast food to enjoy on our trip. My son loved checking his e-mail nightly. The staff was fabulous and very helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Just back from a short stay in Budapest on way to Serbia. Travelling with a 1 year old and this hotel was a great start to our adventure.Arrived early and room not ready but straight away offered a room in the mean time. Some of the rooms on the 2nd floor have small high windows which I didn't like so asked for normal windows and a balcony and they put us in a great room with big balcony. Very slight road noise in background but quiet at night. Bus terminal outside hotel and run every ten minutes or so up until about 11pm - not sure what happens then. Takes 20 mins or so down the hill to the city, straight to the main square where you can hop onto trams, metro, buses etc. Hotel has lovely pool with separate childrens pool and family area which is also great for picnic or just to sunbath. Surrounded by trees. Even has life guard type of guy sat on side all day, helping you down the couple of steps with buggy and generally keeping the area tidy. Loads of toys for under 5 age group and massive sand area with adventure playground. Plenty of trees for shade. This is all behind the main pool area so don't be put off if your not travelling with children. The breakfast was excellent - buffet, everything you could want as well as hot option to order, eaten on terrace overlooking pool and trees. All the staff were really friendly and they genuinely were keen to help in any way. We eat at both the grill and restraunt, found grill better (maybe just choice of food we made) also seemed more popular. Lovely atmousphere at night, lots of lights, really peaceful. Yes, it's also true they provide blankets if your nippy! Didnt use gym or Sauna but it's all there. There is a good supermarket 5 mins walk away and a good restraunt (as long as your not in a rush) couple of bus stops down the hill. Lovely park across road - tricky for buggy to make most of it , but if you like walking seemed like you could go for miles, views of all Budapest, families having picnics, BBQ's etc. A city break can be hectic with young children but this hotel gives you best of both, after a day in the traffic you will be so glad to get back up in the hills!
