Don't listen to the bad reviews below. This is a great hotel for central Paris (10 minute walk to Eiffel Tower and in a good neighborhood with restaurants and shops nearby). The room itself was small and cozy, but that is to be expected of Paris hotels. The room had recently been updated (new carpet, paint) and included a small flat screen (15 inch) which was a decent plus. The one negative is that the bathroom is relatively small (shower not recommended for a "bigger person" as you will not fit), but then again that is also pretty standard for European 2-3 star hotels. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful when I needed directions and a plug agapter. There are no safes in the room if that is a concern for you.
The hotel has a narrow staircase going up four floors with 3 rooms on each floor (be warned - no elevator).
Overall, would definitely recommend the hotel for the value and location, especially if you are single traveling by yourself or for a couple looking for a cheaper trip.
