Stayed here for 3 nights on our way back to ferry port after touring France. Wasn't quite sure what to expect after the mixed reviews on trip advisor. Anyhow, the hotel was better than we anticipated. The owner was very friendly, especailly as we arrived early, but our room
was still ready. The bedroom itself could have done with a bit of updating but it was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was good - had been recently refitted and was clean and had a good shower. As parking in Honfleur is a nightmare the gated carpark was great. The best part of the hotel was the pool and gardens - very attractive. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment - much cheaper to go to one of the cafes on the harbour front. Well priced hotel compared to others in France. Agree with others - do visit L'Ascot restaurant on harbour front - excellent.

We stayed at Hotel l'Ecrin for just two nights in September. Extremely gracious staff. Nice location in that we could walk to the busy harbour but the hotel's street itself was quiet and safe. OK room; not large; nothing extraordinary. Our room had a bathub which was nice and a fantastic shower.
