Have just returned from a fantastic weekend staying at The Pol Hotel in Le Touquet. Would recommend it, it is centrally located, the lounge area and rooms are decorated to a high modern standard, and very clean. Breakfast was really nice, as was the tea and coffee in the lounge area.
Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
We will certainly be returning here, already looking for August!

Have rated this as "above average" becasue it suited us so well, in terms of location and cleanliness, and a good bath or shower. As a bunch of guys golfing for a couple of days, we have few demands , as time spent in the hotel is minimal. The hotel aspires to "4 star" but , in reality, it is far from that. The rooms are VERY small and, whilst we wouldn't have had time to use them anyway, I wasn't aware of any particular facilities on offer. What it DOES have is a wonderful location, right across from the Market (which operates on a Saturday, and close to all bars and restaurants.
Would recommend anyone also considers the small bar/hotel (2 star) next door "Le Nouveau Caddy". This doesn't aspire to be anything other than 2 star, but has wonderful hosts (Karine and Thierry), and is a good bit cheaper than the POL. Many guys we met on golfing tours had been returning there for years
Restaurants to consider in Le Touquet include Restaurant du Marche, immediately behind the market place, and a hop/skip/jump from the hotel (simple, good and reasonably priced food and wine), and PERNARD, on the High Street, which is probably the best seafood restaurant ever. Great area fior dining through the back. Advisable to book, as a lot of people have discovered it!!
