Comfort Hotel Saint Martin - Paris, France 2 star hotel

Address: 6 Rue Gustave Goublier, Paris, 75010
Comfort Hotel Saint Martin details:  The Saint Martin Hotel in Paris is an ideal base for reaching the Boulevard des Grands and the quarter of Les Halles. The atmosphere of this typically Parisian quarter is very cosmopolitan.

The hotel is located in a small and peaceful street, between Gare de l'Est and Notre Dame. Theatres, cinemas, shops and clothes wholesalers contribute to a very lively commercial and cultural activity here. Underground access is excellent: 4 to 6 minutes directly to Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord, and 5 minutes to Les Halles and the Centre Beaubourg. All our rooms are equipped and designed to provide you with the comfort needed. Metro Stations like Strasbourg St Denis and Chateau d'Eau are just within a few minutes walk.

This is not a hotel I would recommend for anyone. I would not go there again. When we came to the hotel, exhausted after several hours on the plane an longing for a shower, there was not hot water. We told the hotel clerk who said: oh no, there's always hot water here.... Yeah. Next day was exactly the same.... Not what you expect from a 3* hotel. And no explanation or trying to make up for it either. Incredible. Also, the rooms are very tiny, and the neighbourhood is very multicultural and not so great for your safety. I was quite disappointed in fact.

Well firstly i would like to say that the staff in the hotel were all very helpful, BUT I wouldnt recommend this hotel for a few reasons my main problem was the general uncleanliness, our bed spreads were stained with green ink and some other unidentifiable dirt and the spare one wasnt any better as it had a fairly large rip in it , the net curtains on the windows were flithy also (i mean they arent expensive to replace) and there was a stool in the corner that looked as if it had been mauled by all the sticky fingered children that may ever had stayed there. The landing outside our room was crowded with laundry bags permenantley making the place look even messier. In the en suite in our room the shower was terrible aside from the fact the shower head was partly covered in limescale ,at 5 foot 4 i'm not exactly tall but i barely fit under the shower and there was no plug stopper so you couldnt have a bath either. In general I just wouldnt recommend this hotel unless you were out all night and day only needed a place to keep your stuff.

Good hotel, though the rooms are a bit small for a 3-star. Very clean and only 200m away from the Eastern...
