1) Location was good. 10 minute walk from galleries lafayette, and close to Metro. 5 minute walk to restaurants and a grocery store.
2) Hotel was comprable to a comfort inn, more like a 1 or 2 star in the states... Not the 4 that they claim to be.
3) Front Desk - Staff is horrible, I will say that they will check you in and answer most questions, but with an attitude. There is no friendly charm here.
4) Rooms - Gotta say you get a lot of room compared to the regular hotels in Paris. The decor is minimal and it's not elaborate at all. Just the basics, but with the price tag of about $600/night for 4 people it's just not worth it. Pay a little extra and go for the bigger chain hotels like Hilton, Ritz and those...
5) Overall - Having the convenience of the kitchenette was good since we have children. But there is no value proposition in this. It's just not worth it plain and simple. When I was there the elevator was broken and so was the AC. The only resolution was... "Yes, the AC is broken" Nothing more than that... It was the worst and I'm being very objective when I rate this a 2 star...

originally booked the Pierre & Vacances Tour Eiffel! recieved an email 2 days prior to say it hadnt finished being refurbished and if we would relocate to this hotel.
Well what a suprise, we ended up close to most the stuff we wanted to do "Arc, Eiffel Tower, Champs etc" It was litterally 10 mins taxi "12 Euros" from Gare Du Nord to the hotel. We arrived early and wasnt able to check in till 2, the kind receptionist advised we could leave luggage in a secure room.
Our room was on the 6th floor overlooking the road! There was no noise. The room was nice and the included kitchen had everything you could need to bake a cake "though we didnt use this" The bathroom was spaceious and clean.
The reception staff were very helpful! Advised places on a map were we could eat and this was very helpful.
There English was perfect also!
