Acacias Etoile - Paris, France     

Many hotels look better on the web page than in reality. Hotel Acacias Etoile is the exception. Our room was small but well appointed. Bed was firm. Carpet and drapes were clean, as was the bath. The metro stop Argentine is less than a 5 minute walk. Breakfast is fairly large by French standards. Small cold buffet, plenty of fruit and yoghurt selections and good coffee. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgable about the city, willing to give advice as needed. AND there is a great sushi place called Sushi Ken just across the street from the hotel. We were quite late arriving to the hotel (after 10 pm before we got checked in) and still managed to walk over and get served a good meal. We will definitly stay here again.

Mary Harris, England. I've just returned from a short trip to Paris with my husband & teenage daughter and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the AcaciasEtoile. The hotel is small but in an excellent position, about a five minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe, and close to many restaurants and the metro. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished, the bathrooms are a reasonable size and everything is very clean. The continental breakfast is taken in a lovely room, decorated with African and oriental artifacts and room service is also available. We arrived very early but our rooms were ready & we were able to have breakfast at the hotel. One of the best things about this hotel however, is the attitude of the staff. They are charming, friendly, helpful and speak very good English - they even put up with my hopeless attempts at French! I would definitely stay at the Acacais Etoile again and I would recommend it. A lovely little gem of a hotel!
