Stayed at hotel Friday to Sunday. Booked direct on their website.
Got room only for ?240 for both nights. I thought this was quite reasonable considering the location etc. We stayed in an executive room.
The hotel is a five minute walk from the RER St Michel Station. Perfect to get from the airport to the city.
Check in was swift and the staff were friendly.
We had emailed in advance to request a no smoking, high floor room with views. We got a reply within 24 hours and each of our requests were granted. We could see the Notre-Dame from our window.
Be warned, Blvd St Michel is busy day and night! You do hear the hustle and bustle from the street below in your room. It didn't bother us, for a couple of days it was nice to be in amongst it all.
The rooms aren't travelodge style - they are all individual with some interesting furnishings. But CLEAN! I obviuosly can't comment on other peoples experiences but I was happy. If not, I would have contacted reception. Some people who complain never seem to do this?
The bathroom was so clean and we had plenty of clean towels.
We had tea/coffee facilities in our room which isn't always standard in Paris.
The mini bar was on the expensive side but you are on a break after all. There is a small supermarket just down from the hotel too.
Small tip - if you fly easyjet, they operate out of terminal 2B now. The tickets and boarding cards still state Terminal 3. They are a fair distance apart so be warned! Also the check in is not organised at all so leave yourself plenty of time. There isn't much once in the terminal and alot of people sitting on the floor as there aren't enough waiting areas. Anyway, all of this has nothing to do with the hotel!
Please email me with any questions.

To tell it like it is......there are horses for courses. Luxury hotels are for weekends where you don't want to leave the hotel. Functional hotels are for when you are in a city and all you need is a place to rest your head - and that is what the Belloy is. It is perfectly located beside the Latin quarter's hotels, bars and jazz clubs etc.
I had read the gushing reviews and also the more realistic ones so was a bit apprehensive before getting there as my standards are very high!
The lobby is the hotel's best feature, exactly as per the photos. The staff are very friendly and obliging. The decor in the rooms is as per the photo but it is a bit faded. The rooms are cleaned every day but I wouldn't say they are spotless - again a bit "faded". No shortage of towels etc. Breakfast is ?13.00 but I would go out for better value.
The traffic on the street is noisy (We were on the 5th floor) but if you shut the window its fine.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel so long as you are not expecting the Ritz. This is Paris remember and finding a hotel can be pot luck. I have been three times - I also stayed in St Michel Odeon and it is much the same standard.
