Our previous hotel could not extend our stay but helped us find the Pratic. There was 3 of us and I felt that the 106 euros per night was a good rate. Upon check in and the manager saw my elderly mom, he gave us a room 2 floors up instead of 3 which I truly appreciated. Mom is in fair shape and had no problem with the stairs. If we'd been higher up, we would have just climbed slower. Great exercise! Our room was small, not much room for the bags but it was clean, newer feeling, great beds and the bathroom good sized. Our view was of the small square to the right of the hotel. This property worked well for us; good location, no street noise, and safe feeling neighborhood.

I read the bad reviews but decided to take a chance on The Pratic! DO NOT make the same mistake!!!! When I arrived in Paris and took the train to the hotel, I was told my room was not ready. I asked when I should check back and was told the room would not be available until the next day. They booked me at a hotel around the corner for the night. When I got there, I found out my "replacement room" had no toilet or shower.
I asked to cancel my reservation and had to walk the streets of Paris looking for another hotel to stay in. DO NOT STAY AT THE PRATIC HOTEL!!!
