We stayed here during the Rugby world cup and they had nearly dobled their prices for the period of the cup, As sucfh it was absurdly overpriced, but if you can book it for around ?70 gbp a nught then I'd consider it. Room was small, and a little tired, but clean. We slept badly on the second night as our room openened onto a courtyard wghere an apartment had a party going on till the small hours. I have to say I'm not a fan of Paris though, I find it dirty and not at all romantic, maybe I'll give it another try in a few years but my two trips there so far have been fairly poor. Overpriced bars and unfriendly waiters, Urinating in the streets and very smoky bars. Subway is great though, as is Lafayette food hall. And the tourist bits fairly interesting.

We stayed here for just one night and didn't spend much time in the hotel, but it was very clean, both front desk clerks were very helpful and spoke excellent English. The rooms were very spacious (for Parisian standards) and the bathroom was modern - no problem with water pressure. The only problem with the bathroom was the half glass screen used to prevent shower water from spraying into the bathroom from the tub. Worthless. Don't know why any one would design such a useless fixture. After taking a shower, water was all over the bathroom floor. Not a big deal. Actually saw this type of set up in Tokyo as well. I guess poor design is universal. The location was perfect. It was in a very quiet and safe part of town and the Leige Metro stop was at the end of the road (you can get anywhere on Metro). All-in-all, I would definately recommend this place again if you want a quiet place to relax after a busy day.
