Hotel Du Manoir - Tours, France     

Just back from a 4 night stay at the Hotel du Manoir. This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the bus and train stations in a nice area. Our room was spotlessly clean if a little on the small side with a decent sized bathroom. Our room rate was ?62 per night with breakfasts ?8 extra per person. Breakfasts were good with an excellent selection of hams, cheeses, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, rolls, jams, cakes, yogurts etc The staff were exceptionally helpful, pleasant and good humoured. My only complaint was that the only English speaking channel on the T.V. was the endlessly looping CNN. I would definitely recommend that you base yoursef here if staying in Tours.

We booked this based on other TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The location is good, an easy walk to the old part of the city. It was also very easy to find and to get into and out of the city from the motorway. The hotel itself was nice, the room was small but clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great.
