Perfect for overnight

Stayed here for one night in Oct '07 for a wedding held next door at the LCCC, paid £49.00 for the room, dinner bed & breakfast (part of a 10 room booking). Easy to find, ample secure parking, great location for cricket/football fans, clean & comfortable rooms then an excellent self-service breakfast in the morning plus a complimentary newspaper. Downsides? cannot check in until after 3pm, the car park is also rented out to Man Utd fans so it get full quickly on match days and they mixed up the booking, but did eventually sort it out. Overall I would stay here again and would recommend to a friend.

I just needed a bed, a shower and some news channels. This place is spot-on. I paid £34 for an executive room, which overlooked the cricket pitch - a nice touch and a change from the usual car park or ventilation outlet views you tend to get at budget hotels. The shower was fine, the bed was fine, it was perfectly clean and they even provided biscuits with the tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was included in the price. Cereals, croissants, toast, yoghurt... And free car parking right outside the door. For a simple solution, I can't fault this place.
