At first I thought the hotel was far from the main attractions in Paris but then I found out that it is located in a very nice residential area with many shops, bars, restaurants, boulangeries and a big supermarket just across the street called Champion. The subway station is nearby, so I had no problem in moving around town. There was a street market on sunday where you could buy fresh flowers, fish, make-up, clothes, fruits, etc. It was my third time in Paris and I?m planning to get back there this september. I intend to stay at Ajiel again. Katia Bonfadini, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil

Stayed 3 nights at the hotel with wife and kid during the half-term break. The hotel was comfortable, clean and in a safe location, within the Paris metro area. Access to major tourist sites was just a metro ride away. While we were there, the street market was held (Thursday), selling everything from fresh seafood, meat, fruits and vegetables, to clothing, household goods and other knick-knacks. The staff spoke English and was helpful. The lift is old style and nostalgic - you have to open the door yourself, but the lift worked without any problems. Our room was not big, but it was typical of a Parisien apartment room with tall French windows. Our room overlooked the main street, which was typically Parisien lined with mature trees. There is no parking at the hotel, so if you have a car, you will either need to park on the street or a parking station (there is one a few hundred metres nearby). Breakfast was good with an asortment of breads, with a nice coffee. There are restaurants nearby, with also the usual choice of fast-food outlets (McDonalds and KFC). Overall, we left feeling good about our visit to Paris.
