We stayed here July 08 and it's a great hotel, just like the pictures. It is self contained and very peaceful, but it has lots of activities and things you can do. Our 3 kids ranged from 12-15 and were always doing something either with the onsite activity reps or with us. The rooms are big, really clean, lots of extras, water, wine, fruit, cakes, chocs on pillows and nuts. Towels and bedsheets changed daily and you get two fresh pool towels per person every day. There is not a lot to do outside the hotel and the area is very much a work in progress with lots of partial buildings (but there is no noise). However there are many things laid on in the evening. There is a private caved entrance to the hotel beach (man-made white sand) on one side or you can use the volcanic black sand public beach on the other side. The very extensive Garoe restaurant for all inclusive or HB is for breakfast and dinner and is fantastic, the chefs cook your eggs the way you want and in the evening they will cook fresh sirloin steaks, chicken, pork, lamb and also several varieties of fresh fish of the day to order. The extensive lunches in the pool bar restaurants are also good and they'll cook you a fresh pizza to order. The staff are very friendly and always happy to help, Some things that were not so great but really nothing compared to the overall holiday were, room service for coffee in the morning and in general was slow, there was no iron in the room and the provided hairdryer was rubbish. It's not quite there for 5* but pretty close and well worth the money.

A very welcoming hotel where the service from staff is attentive & cheerful. Our room was lovely & spacious with unexpected extras such as complimentary fruit, wine, nuts & water on arrival. The whole resort is absolutely spotless with nice, well tended grounds. The hotel rooms, etc. looked exactly as they appeared on the official website which is not always the case with other resorts! Other 'pluses' include plenty of sunbeds, two towels each - one for the sunbed & one for drying yourself, great infinity pool, lovely sea views (especially from the rooftop solarium) and little fish ponds with cascading water - a lovely sound when sunbathing. We chose the all inclusive option which also meant the mini-bar was stocked with soft drinks & refilled daily. With the ?/euro rate as it is all inclusive is a very good option as the food quality was excellent in all of the restaurants. There were also no queues for food or drinks. The hotel makes a great effort to keep the buffets varied & interesting. Cava at breakfast is a nice touch. If we had to pick a 'niggle' it would be the location as it is too far out to walk anywhere. That said, there is an hourly free shuttle to the sister hotel in Costa Adeje from where you can walk to Fanabe & the harbour. All in all a great holiday in a lovely hotel which we would definately go back too.
