Hostal Mont Royal - Alicante, Spain 

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. It is about 15minutes drive from the main center of Alicante, actually it is in Playa San Jaun. It is a small hostal, we stayed in a double room with private bathroom, although the room was tiny it was clean and plesant and had air con. Breakfast is included at the onsite resteraunt, great fresh squeezed ornage juice and toasted french bread and jam. There is a pool. We had dinner at the resteraunt and really enjoyed it although not many of the staff speak english. There is also a great pizzeria next door. IF you walk 5 minutes down the street you get to a great tiny privaste little bay. The bus to alicante stops almost outside and ticksts cost only 1 euro. The only downside was no internet connection and only one of the staff speaking english. Our taxi driver from the airport also did not know were it was. For only 28 euros a night for 2 you can't get much better.

Nos alojamos aquí 4 noches y nos encantó. Está a unos 15 minutos en coche del centro de Alicante, realmente está en Playa San Juan. Es un pequeño hostal, nos alojamos en una habitación doble con baño privado, aunque la habitación era diminuta, estaba limpia y era agradable y con aire acondicionado. El desayuno está incluido y se toma en el restaurante del hotel, con un estupendo zumo de naranja natural y tostadas con mermelada en pan estilo francés. Hay una piscina. Cenamos en el restaurante y nos gustó mucho, aunque no hay mucho personal que hable inglés. Hay también una pizzería al lado que está muy bien. Si caminas 5 minutos calle abajo llegas a una pequeña bahía privada. El bus a Alicante para casi afuera y el billete cuesta sólo 1 euro. El único inconveniente era que no había conexión a internet y sólo un empleado hablaba inglés. Además, el taxista del aeropuerto no sabía dónde quedaba. Por sólo 28 euros por noche para 2 personas no puedes encontrar algo mucho mejor.
