Location

Toledo has wonderful and interesting places for the traveller very close to the city, just a few hours far away.
We can remark the famous and interesting Route of Don Quixote, with the very beautiful and typical villages of La Mancha, such as Almagro, Consuegra, El Toboso, …

Another optional and interesting route would be on the north of Toledo, concretely the county of La Sagra, which waits for the traveller to let him to know besides Cervantes´house in Esquivias, El Greco´s artworks in Illescas and Carranque Archeological Park.

Hotel Eurico has no restaurant, but we can recomend you very nice and good ones, very close to the hotel.
We have continental buffet breakfast every day from 7a.m. until 10a.m., and also a very nice and comfortable coffe bar where you can taste our tapas, different typical meals and enjoy the set of caves from the XVth century .

i stayed at the Eurico with another female friend the last week in May. While the location is excellent we found it had little else to offer. The bedroom was small and the decor basic. The light above my bed had no shade, and while I complaned about this on day 2 of a 5 night stay it was never dealt with.The breakfast was pretty basic also and we only availed of it on day 1. A plus for the hotel was that two of the receptionists spoke fluent english which we found to be an exception in Toledo in general..We also found the natives to be most unhelpful and quite rude ..Toledo is worth a visit but be warned it is very expensive and full of day trippers..3 days would have been sufficent..Also be wary of unscrupulous taxi drivers in Madrid...overcharging does seem to be rife and we got badly burned..

This hotel looks just like the photos on their website. It is so charming. We stayed in room 307. It was big enough to add an additional single bed for our kids to share. The air conditioning was so good that we had to turn it down several times during the night. We only interacted with the staff a few times, but they were very nice and even printed out driving directions to our next city (Cordoba). The location was great for walking. Please be aware, if you don't already know, that driving in the old sections of Spanish towns is really tough. This hotel does have a drive-able road in front of it and parking was available two or three blocks away (but make sure you've rented a small car).
