I visited the Happy days apartments in malia in july07. to be honst i
dont think id go back to malia itself in jul07 as i think it was full
of alot of larger louts between 17-21.
on arrival to the aprtments we were inpressed, the room was clean tidy and looked new, the aprtments i thought were of a 3 star standard, as i have stayed in some flee pits before with a simular star rating.
The owners are all fantastic, and are very strict with people, which i think was a good thing as there were never no trouble..we were about 7 to ten mins away from centre and about half anours walk to beach.all in all the apartments were nice and would happily go back again, but dont know if id go back to malia.

Happy days hotel please do not be fooled by the name. This is the worst hotel ive ever been to. They will try to get money from you by removing items from your room then charge you fifty euros, for a towell. the rooms are poor, no hot water after nine, the pool is not cleaned properly and the bar which is not twenty four hours, which they claim, is probably the most expensive in malia. five euros for a can of guiness, madness. the racist night porter will ensure you cannot talk after midnight. i would never return to this hotel even if my life depended on it. after working all year long i was verry disapointed to have spended my money in this dive and i would strongly reccommend avoiding this place at all cost.
