Hotel Montebello - Montecatini Terme, Italy 

I stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. The room was spacious, the beds comfy, and the complimentary breakfasts were very delicious. More than all that, though, was the helpfulness of the people there. Marco, a guy at the front desk, was about the only one who spoke English comfortably enough to help with questions, and he even made some arrangements to see some musuems that we otherwise wouldn't have been able to visit. Thanks for family! Even the owner, who spoke little to no English, was very helpful and patient and we were able to communicate well enough with my broken Italian and his clear and helpful gesturing and again, patient Italian. And a maid spoke perfect English and helped us out when Marco was away. Again, everyone of the staff was accomodating and most helpful, as much as at any place I stayed on the 22 day trip.
